Membership
GCC is a family of brothers and sisters adopted by God. From him we receive the privilege of worshipping Jesus, serving in his kingdom, and living on mission as we care for each other and serve together.
The leadership of Grace Covenant Church strives to love and care for its members well (Eph. 4:11-12; Gal. 6:10). In turn, we rely on our members to accomplish our collective work as the church (Eph. 2:10). As a church, we operate with minimal staff, budget, and programming because we trust the Holy Spirit to move through the transformed hearts of our members, mobilizing the collective body of Christ in humble ways to love and reach our greater Wenachee Valley.
Guests are always welcome within our household. For those interested in transitioning from guest to family member, the membership process is your opportunity to learn more about us and our opportunity to get to know you. The membership process includes four steps:
Step 1 - EXPLORE...by listening to some sermons, doing some reading, & attending the foundations class.
Step 2 - AFFIRM...our statement of faith and covenant member expectations by reading through it and clarifying any questions.
Step 3 - CONVERSE...with us by filling out a member profile and meeting with a GCC elder.
Step 4 - GO PUBLIC...by acknolwedging your commitment to live as a family member of GCC, in community, on mission, with the gospel. This step will normally be celebrated on a Sunday Morning gathering. Your membership is now expressed by your active participation in the life of our church through Gospel Communities.
