How To Waste Your Summer

Not that you need any help with this, but just in case you're an exception to the rule, I thought I'd help you figure out a few ways to waste your summer (and your family's). Don't worry, it's easy to do and will require very little effort. Here's my list of recommendations, in no specific order (and don't be overwhelmed...you don't have to do all of them to waste your summer...any combination of 2-3 should suffice): Good Intentions...have lots of them, just don't set any clear, measurable, attainable goals and follow through on them. And definitely don't ask anyone to hold you accountable. Drift...just kick into "vacation" mode in every other area of your life...guaranteed it will affect your fight of faith Go to the lake...alot...especially on the weekend. This is a great way to relax and just "get away" from it all (like church, fellowship, corporate worship, the preaching of the Word, communion, etc). My friend, Justin Holcomb, who oversees the Re:Train school I've been attending the past two years, has an excellent article here on what we can know (and not know) about the return of Christ.
